Bluewater Energy Services consulted Lavastica International to rebuild the fire and gas detection system on board of the FPSO Glas Dowr. Lavastica supplied equipment from various brands such as Honeywell, Det-Tronics, MEDC, Tyco and Siemens to the Glas Dowr. Lavastica was able to engineer and supply all the required material in time with the necessary documents. The material includes explosion proof smoke detectors, gas detectors, flame detectors and manual call points. All the equipment complies to the high demands for this project. Glas Dowr is now fully operational on the Kitan field and First Oil.
